The year 2022 was another amazing time for the members of GLANC! We adjusted to the pandemic by launching our GLANC CONNECTIONS program, hosting our monthly events virtually on Zoom. This allowed us to tour collections, view Museum exhibits, and meet with Maestro artists from all over the world!
Please work with us to continue these special programs by contributing to the GLANC Scholarship and Maestro Program Fund. Your support allows us to:
Provide educational opportunities for San Francisco Area artists.
Bring world-class guest artists to the Bay Area.
Provide funding to non-profit glass organizations for educational programs and special projects.
Member donations are what make our programming and scholarships possible!
GLANC members participated in and supported a variety of events this year, including: - GLANC CONNECTIONS Maestro event with Matthew Curtis and Harriet Schwarzrock from Australia - GLANC CONNECTIONS Maestro event with Jen Blazina - GLANC CONNECTIONS Maestro event with Netflix star Elliot Walker from the UK - GLANC CONNECTIONS Maestro event with the Palm Springs Art Museum including Richard Whiteley - GLANC CONNECTIONS Maestro event with Stephen Dee Edwards - GLANC CONNECTIONS Maestro event with Gordon Huether - GLANC CONNECTIONS Maestro event with Josè Chardiet
Students, professional glass artists and non-profit glass organizations in the Bay Area benefit from your support. Your contribution to our fund allows us to fulfill GLANC’s mission to further the development and appreciation of art made from glass!
This year we are honoring Tom Mapes, a long-time supporter of GLANC, with a fund established in his memory. Friends of Tom may wish to make their contribution in his name, and can do so by putting his name in the memo line of their check, or by adding a note to their PayPal payment.
Send your 100% tax deductible donation now, by mailing a check to: GLANC, PO Box 3234, Fremont, CA 94539. Or, visit the GLANC website and securely donate online.
