What does GLANC do?
GLANC sponsors lectures, destination tours, day trips, and scholarships. We visit artists’ studios, collectors’ homes, have access to private exhibit previews and docent tours as well as select glass forums. We publish a quarterly newsletter and events calendar. We also build community through shared experiences and interests.
How do you pronounce GLANC?
It is pronounced “glance”.
Who can join?
Everyone! Our goal is to educate and grow the community of people interested in glass art. Artists, collectors, galleries, museums, students and the community at large are welcome.
Does GLANC have regular meetings?
While we do not have regular meetings, we have a number of talks and tours throughout the year. Events that GLANC sponsored are listed in the Events calendar and members receive invitations to each event.
Does GLANC have an office?
GLANC is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3)organization, so we do not have a physical office.
How can I volunteer?
GLANC is interested in its membership becoming actively involved. We can use your energy, knowledge and skills in a number of areas. Please contact us for more information.
